"I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I'm like, 'I never once said that.' I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men."
Love and truth. Girls' sports. Girls' spaces. Not complicated.
THE MOB CALLS HONESTY "TRANSPHOBIA"...
On X, the quote is clipped and framed as a confession: "unafraid to be blatantly transphobic." Her own words, they say — as if protecting female athletes is a crime scene. Million-view pile-on. Same script every time a woman in the arena refuses the lie.
Cunningham insists the comment isn't a Rosetta Stone for her politics. Fine. The country doesn't need a party ID to know sex is real and girls deserve a fair fight.
