Alaska voters will decide this fall on a ballot measure locking in the state's ban on noncitizen voting. APP helped drive the initiative to the ballot after years of fights to protect citizen-only elections. The measure forces officials to affirm that only U.S. citizens can cast ballots in state and local races. Polls show overwhelming majorities reject any expansion of voting to noncitizens.
